Qualibat quality certifications

QUALIBAT is the French certification board for construction companies in France.

Created in 1949, it derives from the Law of 1 July 1901 and was developed with the purpose of certifying the technical and human skills, as well as the financial capacity, of construction companies based on a standardised and objective evaluation procedure.

QUALIBAT certification today represents added value for the company that operates in the French construction sector, especially as this certification is often mandatory for access to certain public and private tenders.

Effective 1 October 2014, public aid granted to consumers that carry out renovation works aimed at energy efficiency (Crédit d’impôt) requires that the company must be selected from those possessing the “Reconnu Grenelle Environnement“, better known as RGE, a recognition issued along with QUALIBAT certification.

Non-French companies can obtain QUALIBAT certification and the RGE recognition in the same manner as French firms.
